Gong Stands:
We are very proud of this gong stand set up, it is one of the simplest, most cost effective, and versatile systems on the market. This system is made up with a couple different options. You can set it up using all 3/4" electrical conduit (or any other 3/4” pipe) for the legs and cross bar, or you can use a 2x4 for the top cross bar. Either way is very portable and easy to set up. These systems will not be able to be shipped with the legs, so a trip to the local hardware store or electrical store will be needed. We use 3/4" IMC electrical conduit with these systems all the time, it’s a little heavier than the cheap EMT conduit and can handle more weight. The EMT conduit can be used if you want and will work fine if you’re just putting small targets on it and not shooting high caliber rifles at it. These same brackets are used for our Flash Targets, Vertical Spinner, and all our horizontal systems. The main bracket is offered in a LT (1/4” AR500) version, and a HD (3/8” AR500) version for doing multiple targets on one stand or heavier targets. These brackets can be used to build portable sawhorses as well, but are not rated to be stood on.
